Zero Tolerance Policy towards Ragging

Ragging is a Criminal Offence!

PRATIMA INSTITUTE OF NURSING AND HEALTH SCIENCE (PINHS) has a zero-tolerance policy against ragging. Any student found guilty of ragging or abetting ragging is liable to be severely punished, which may include rustication from the institute.

What Constitutes Ragging?

Any conduct by words spoken or written, or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating, or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student.
Indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes annoyance, hardship, physical, or psychological harm.
Asking any student to do any act which they would not do in the ordinary course and which generates a sense of shame, torment, or embarrassment.
Any act of physical abuse including all variants of it: sexual abuse, stripping, forcing obscene acts, etc.
