B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) Nursing
Duration: 4 (Four) Years
Seats: 60 (Sixty)
Education Qualification: The applicant should have passed (10+2) examination, with a minimum 45% in aggregate with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and pass in English Core/English Elective for General Candidates. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the marks obtained in the three core subjects shall be 40%. Candidates are also eligible from the State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government having Bio-Science subjects and English only. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
Age: Minimum age 17 years as on 31st December of the same year of the session.
Sex: Female only
Nationality:
She should be citizen of India.
She shall be a resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least ten years, preceding the date of making the application for admission.
Medical Fitness: Candidate should be medically fit.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on WBJEEB merit list and counselling.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Education Qualification: The applicant should have passed (10+2) examination with English as a subject and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks at the aggregate at the qualifying examination from any stream (Arts/Commerce/Science) and must pass in English subject, from any recognized Board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS), recognized by the Central Government, 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational stream – Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE Board/Centre.
